Pursuit Manager

GN Group

Take ownership of international tenders in a growing defence company, where your work directly supports the contracts we secure. This is a position with flexibility and meaningful influence over how you structure your work.

Falcom, part of the GN group, develops tactical hearing protection and communication systems for defence and law enforcement professionals. Our equipment is used in demanding acoustic environments, where clear communication and protected hearing are operational necessities.

In the role of Pursuit Manager in the Sales function, you will manage complex tender responses and pursuit activities from opportunity assessment to submission and award, while building the structure, processes and relationships that enable FalCom to deliver compliant and competitive bids.

The Team You Will Be Part Of

FalCom comprises 100 colleagues from diverse backgrounds. We work in an informal and collaborative environment at our offices in Ballerup.

You will report directly to the Head of Sales, Stephan Meijers, and help develop our pursuit and bid practices as we grow. You will join a changing environment where not every process is fully defined, and where clear communication, constructive challenge, and early escalation of risks are valued.

Travel may be required for the role: 10-20 days per year.

Your Contribution Is Appreciated, And You Will

  • Track, maintain and prepare for long-term tender opportunities.
  • Support and coordinate pursuit activities.
  • Manage tender responses end-to-end, from opportunity assessment through submission and award, ensuring clear plans, ownership, deadlines and decision points
  • Analyze tender documentation, clarify unclear requirements and secure the relevant technical, commercial, regulatory and partner information for each submission
  • Establish and maintain practical pursuit and bid processes, checklists and governance that enable consistent, compliant and high-quality tender delivery
  • Identify tender risks early, assess their impact and coordinate appropriate mitigation actions with relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate technical requirements, commercial, regulatory and partner contributions across international stakeholders, ensuring input is complete and delivered on time
  • Prepare commercial offers with Sales and Pricing, balancing competitiveness with sound margin management
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, local partners and agents between tender opportunities, strengthening readiness when new tenders are released

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Bring experience managing bids or tenders end-to-end, preferably within defense, security or another publicly tendered sector
  • Process complex information with curiosity and sound judgement, translating unclear requirements into clear actions and response plans
  • Plan and organize work effectively, while taking initiative to introduce structure and improve processes where they are still developing
  • Work well with stakeholders across functions, locations and perspectives, and build productive relationships over time
  • Are steady and resilient in a changing environment with competing priorities, while maintaining attention to detail and progress towards deadlines
  • It is beneficial if you have experience with defence or law-enforcement procurement, working with local partners and agents in international markets, and using Excel and digital tools to improve processes.

At GN we pride ourselves on encouraging flexible work whenever possible. We trust our people to fulfill their responsibilities, to know when in-person collaboration is better than hybrid, and to be present when it's needed most.

We encourage you to apply

Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we welcome your application if you think you have transferable skills. We highly value a mindset and motivation that align with our core values, to not only ensure growth for you, but for your team and the wider GN organization as well.

We are focused on an inclusive recruitment process

All applicants will receive equal consideration for employment. As such, we encourage you to submit your CV without a photo to ensure an equal and fair application process.

Should you have any special requirements for the interview, please let the Hiring Manager know upon accepting the invitation to the interview.
