Customer Relations & Order Manager – MarineTech

Do you build the kind of customer relationships where trust makes the difference?

At MarineTech, we are looking for a Customer Relations & Order Manager who will take responsibility for a small portfolio of key customers and ensure an excellent customer experience from agreement to delivery.

This is not a traditional sales role focused on hunting for new business. Your success will come from knowing your customers, understanding their needs and business, and building strong, long-term relationships based on trust, reliability and professional advice.

Your role

You will be the customer’s primary point of contact and trusted advisor, working closely with colleagues, suppliers and partners to make sure everything comes together.

You will combine customer relationship management with hands-on responsibility for orders, forecasts and deliveries. This means staying close to your customers, anticipating their needs and ensuring that commitments are followed through.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Build, maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers
• Act as the customer’s primary contact and advise on products, solutions and delivery options
• Manage orders from A to Z, including requirements, prices, terms, documentation and delivery
• Follow up on customer forecasts and coordinate internally to support material and delivery planning
• Coordinate closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams
• Proactively keep customers informed about quotations, orders, deliveries and deviations
• Maintain accurate customer, order and activity data in ERP and CRM
• Identify opportunities to further develop existing customer accounts
• Look forward to 10–15 travel days per year as an opportunity to meet customers, build stronger relationships and get closer to their business.

You probably have experience from B2B customer management, order coordination, sales or customer service. More importantly, you enjoy building relationships and creating a customer experience where people know they can rely on you.

We imagine that you:

• Have experience working with B2B customers and coordinating orders or deliveries
• Have a good commercial understanding and an interest in technical products and solutions
• Are comfortable working with ERP and CRM systems and structured follow-up
• Ideally have experience coordinating with suppliers, carriers and complex deliveries
• Communicate professionally in both Danish and English

As a person

You are outgoing and approachable and naturally create good relationships with customers and colleagues. You are service-minded without losing sight of the commercial perspective.

At the same time, you are structured and proactive. You take ownership, keep an overview when several things are happening at once, and make sure agreements and commitments are followed through to completion.
