System Supporter

Autorola Group · Global

At Autorola Marketplace, we're helping transform how the automotive industry buys and sells used vehicles through digital auction solutions, technology and data.

We're looking for a System Supporter to join our Marketplace Support team and help ensure that our users have the support they need to work effectively with our systems. You'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our global online vehicle auction platform, working closely with colleagues across Marketplace, development and the wider Autorola Group.

You'll handle 2nd level support, investigate and resolve system-related issues, and help ensure that more complex cases are clearly documented and handed over to the right teams. You'll also contribute to improving our support processes, documentation and use of data.

If you enjoy solving system-related challenges, understanding how things work and helping colleagues find practical solutions, we'd love to hear from you.

About Us

The Autorola Group is a global leader in online vehicle remarketing, automotive IT solutions and business intelligence for the used vehicle market. Through Autorola Marketplace, Autorola Solutions and Indicata, we help manufacturers, leasing companies, fleet owners and dealers buy, sell and manage vehicles more efficiently using technology, data and digital solutions.

Help keep our global Marketplace operation running

As System Supporter, you'll be part of our Marketplace Support team and work closely with the Marketplace Support Manager and colleagues across the organization.

Our Marketplace operation supports more than 500 employees who collectively sell more than 10,000 vehicles every month. Your role will be to ensure that system-related issues are handled efficiently, users receive a high level of service and relevant issues are taken forward to the teams responsible for development and technical resolution.

You'll combine hands-on support with analysis, documentation and continuous improvement. You'll need to understand the issue behind a support request, identify the right solution or next step, and communicate it clearly to both users and technical colleagues.

Success means users getting the support they need, issues being handled efficiently and knowledge being captured so that we continuously improve the way we support our systems.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide 2nd level support for incoming calls and tickets related to Marketplace administration and front-end systems.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot system-related issues and identify appropriate solutions or next steps.
  • Investigate, describe and document more complex cases before handing them over to 3rd level support or Software Development.
  • Work closely with development and other technical teams to ensure that issues are clearly understood and efficiently resolved.
  • Identify recurring issues and contribute to improving our support processes and ways of working.
  • Develop and maintain support procedures, manuals and other internal documentation.
  • Extract data and prepare statistics and reports to support the Marketplace organization.
  • Continuously expand our internal knowledge base and make relevant information easy for colleagues to find and use.
  • Share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to a strong support culture across the organization.
  • Work with colleagues across countries, functions and time zones to support our international Marketplace operation.

Who are we looking for

We're looking for a System Supporter who combines technical curiosity with strong analytical and communication skills. You enjoy understanding problems, finding solutions and helping others get the most out of the systems they work with.

You Likely Have

  • Experience working with system support, application support, IT support or a similar role.
  • A strong interest in IT systems, troubleshooting and data.
  • The ability to analyse issue descriptions, investigate the underlying problem and identify practical solutions.
  • A structured and methodical approach to handling support cases.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to different audiences.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • A service-minded and solution-oriented approach.
  • The ability to work independently while knowing when to involve colleagues or escalate an issue.
  • A proactive mindset and an interest in improving processes rather than simply resolving individual issues.
  • The ability to work effectively in an international organization with different cultures, languages and time zones.

Experience with ticketing systems, application support, data analysis or working with web-based business applications is an advantage.

Just as importantly, you're a team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and contributing to a positive working environment. You're curious, open-minded and motivated by creating value for both users and the business.

What success looks like

Within Your First 12–18 Months, You'll Have

  • Built a strong understanding of the Marketplace systems, business processes and common support challenges.
  • Become a trusted point of contact for colleagues when they need help with Marketplace systems.
  • Established strong working relationships with Marketplace, Software Development and other relevant teams.
  • Successfully handled and resolved 2nd level support cases while ensuring that complex issues are clearly documented and escalated.
  • Contributed to a stronger and more structured support knowledge base.
  • Helped improve support processes, documentation and ways of working.
  • Developed a good understanding of Marketplace data and contributed to relevant reporting and analysis.
  • Become an active contributor to a collaborative and knowledge-sharing support team.
