The Excellence team plays a critical role in advancing Novonesis' purpose by driving operational excellence, Lean capability, and continuous improvement across production. Through knowledge sharing, collaborative problem-solving, and a strong focus on global standards adapted to local needs, we help strengthen manufacturing performance and build the capabilities needed for sustainable success.
As part of a global Excellence community, you will have the opportunity to influence how Operational Excellence is deployed across manufacturing while supporting one of Novonesis' most advanced production sites.
The role & your impact
As Excellence Partner, you will serve as a strategic and hands-on leader driving the deployment of Operational Excellence and Lean methodologies across production departments. Working closely with both global and local stakeholders, you will ensure alignment between business strategy and execution while developing a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Your Key Responsibilities In This Role
- Drive strategy deployment across the site, including Hoshin Kanri implementation, execution follow-up, and leadership governance routines.
- Lead Rapid Improvement Events and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance, production flow, and manufacturing capacity.
- Develop and continuously improve Operational Excellence systems, standards, tools, and approaches to meet evolving business and manufacturing needs.
- Assess Lean maturity, identify improvement opportunities, and partner with site leadership teams to implement sustainable performance improvements.
- Coach leaders and teams while developing and delivering Lean and Operational Excellence capability-building and training programmes.
- Represent Site Avedøre in the global Go4Excellence network, driving engagement, sharing best practices, and ensuring harmonized deployment of Operational Excellence methodologies across sites.
- A Master's degree or higher in a scientific, engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
- Extensive experience driving Lean implementation, Operational Excellence, and sustainable performance improvements within process manufacturing environments.
- Proven success applying Lean methodologies to translate business strategy into execution and deliver measurable results.
- Strong experience with strategy deployment, Hoshin Kanri, workshop facilitation, change leadership, and capability-building initiatives.
- The ability to influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, from shop-floor teams to senior leadership.
- Fluency in Danish and English, combined with a collaborative coaching style and a passion for continuous improvement.
While not required, the following would be an advantage:
- Experience working in global manufacturing organisations with complex matrix structures.
- Exposure to large-scale operational transformation programmes across multiple sites.
- Experience facilitating cross-site improvement initiatives and global knowledge-sharing networks.
- A strong interest in developing people, fostering high-performance cultures, and driving organizational change.
- Broader international manufacturing experience across regions and production technologies.

You will report to the Head of Site and be a valued member of the Site Leadership Team, covering approximately 400 skilled employees. You will collaborate closely with other manufacturing sites, regional leaders, and global stakeholders.
