IT Business Analyst

At Flying Tiger Copenhagen, thousands of decisions are made every year. Which products should we buy? How much should we order? Where should products be allocated? When should prices be adjusted? Behind every one of these decisions are people, processes and systems that need to work seamlessly together.

We are looking for a Business Analyst who understands retail operations and enjoys turning complex business challenges into smarter, more scalable system solutions. Someone equally at home in a buying meeting and in a room full of developers. This is a role for someone who can build bridges between the commercial and technological side of our retail business.

The job

You will become a part of our Technology department but live close to the business and will be working at our HQ in the heart of Copenhagen. You will get under the skin of how our commercial teams plan, buy, price and move product - mapping how they work today, spotting where processes and systems hold them back, and shaping solutions that add real commercial value.

Some days you'll facilitate a workshop with the commercial team to understand what's really getting in their way. On other days you'll be with developers, solution architects and project teams, translating those needs into clear requirements and new capabilities. Throughout, you'll help modernize the systems and processes behind a fast-moving global retail business.

What you will be doing

• Work with commercial teams to understand their processes.
• Document business requirements and translate them into clear specifications for technology teams.
• Support the design of new processes and system solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders across the organization on their technical needs.
• Support users through implementation and make sure new processes and systems are genuinely adopted.

What we are looking for

• Experience as a Business Analyst, Business Consultant (or similar) from a commercial retail environment.
• Knowledge of how retail businesses operate - where business meets technology.
• Solid ERP knowledge, and experience capturing requirements for new or replacement systems.
• Experience on transformation programmes - improving business processes and implementing new systems.
• Comfort working with country-specific finance and legal requirements in a multi-country setting.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Fluent English communication skills.
