You’ll be part of a people-focused organization with a steep learning curve, a diverse and inclusive culture, and the chance to contribute to FUJIFILM’s largest growth journey to date.

As the PI Historian Lead Automation Engineer, you have deep expertise in the AVEVA (OSIsoft) PI System and experience applying it in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. Knowledge of DCS systems (DeltaV) and reporting tools (InfoBatch, Crystal Reports) is a plus, not a requirement.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Serve as Technical Lead for the site OSIsoft PI System, from architecture and lifecycle documentation to configuration, testing, and implementation, supporting site-wide Automation, Manufacturing, and Data Systems for an end-to-end CDMO facility.
  • Support and optimize PI architecture and tools: PI SMT, PI OPC Interface, Asset Framework (AF), Event Frames (EF), PI System Explorer, and PI Vision.
  • Provide operational support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and system administration for the PI system.
  • Drive adoption and ensure smooth project rollout across the organization.
  • Manage change control in a regulated environment.
  • Collaborate as part of a global PI team with peers in the UK and US.
  • Work per defined procedures and maintain validated states for automation systems.

Requirements

We’re seeking candidates with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years designing, configuring, and implementing Historians
  • Hands-on experience with OSIsoft/AVEVA PI Historian (required)
  • Programming skills: VBScript, .NET, C#, Python, SQL
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Collaborative mindset; experience working with global, cross-functional teams
  • Experience in a cGMP facility or working with FDA regulations
  • Ownership mindset, problem-solving drive, and a passion for building smart, novel solutions
