At COWI, you will become part of our Offshore Geotechnics team and contribute across the full project lifecycle of major offshore wind developments, from site investigations and geotechnical interpretation to foundation design, advanced analysis, and lifetime extension. As the industry continues to grow in scale and complexity, you will be part of a team exploring smarter ways of working through digital tools, automation, and innovative engineering solutions. Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Deliver geotechnical engineering analyses, interpretation, assessments, and design support for offshore wind projects.
• Perform advanced numerical modelling and geotechnical analyses using tools such as PLAXIS.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance engineering tools, scripts, and automated workflows using Python, MATLAB, and similar technologies.
• Support the adoption of automation, AI, and digital engineering solutions within geotechnical processes.
• Support the efficient management, analysis, and visualisation of geotechnical data to improve project outcomes.
• Collaborate with geotechnical, structural, and digital specialists across disciplines, while contributing to technical development initiatives and knowledge sharing within the Offshore Geotechnics team.

On top of that, you will have:

• Hold an MSc or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, with approximately 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrate solid geotechnical engineering fundamentals, analytical capabilities, and experience with numerical modelling and geotechnical software.
• Possess proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar programming environments, with the ability or interest to develop digital engineering solutions.
• Show a keen interest in automation, digitalisation, and the continuous improvement of engineering processes and workflows.
• Be capable of working independently, effectively structuring both short- and long-term objectives, priorities, and processes.
• Thrive in collaborative environments, communicating fluently in English and working closely with colleagues and specialists through open feedback and knowledge-sharing practices.
  
  

Experience from offshore wind, offshore foundations, marine geotechnics or related sectors, as well as other geotechnical disciplines applied within offshore renewable energy.
