Technology Lead

On behalf of HydraSpecma, Medarbejderne ApS is recruiting a Product & Technology Lead to drive the development of cooling solutions for power conversion applications. You will work where technology, customers and business meet and help move ideas from customer need and early concept through validation and industrialisation.

From customer need to product solution

Your starting point is the application and the customer. You will translate customer and system requirements into technical specifications and product concepts and drive the development process together with colleagues from R&D, Customer Engineering, Procurement and Operations.

You will follow solutions through the complete development journey from early concept and design to testing, validation, release and industrialisation. A key part of the assignment is also to support more standardised and modular product platforms, so new solutions can be scaled across customers and applications.

Technology with a commercial purpose

The role is technically anchored, but the commercial perspective matters. Together with Sales and Customer Engineering, you will evaluate new opportunities, support technical feasibility discussions and help identify customer segments where HydraSpecma’s capabilities can create value.

You do not need to be a salesperson. You do need to understand that a technically strong solution also has to be competitive. Performance, reliability, manufacturability, cost and customer value all matter when a concept is turned into a product.

What will make you successful?

You bring a strong technical foundation and experience from product development, engineering or a comparable technical environment. A background in power conversion, power electronics, thermal management, cooling technology or related industrial technologies will be particularly relevant.

You are comfortable breaking down complex requirements, involving the right specialists and driving activities towards decisions and completion. Just as importantly, you are curious about customers and markets and naturally ask whether a solution creates the right value for both the customer and HydraSpecma.

The role reports to the Head of Technology and is based primarily in Skjern, Denmark, with responsibility for cross-functional product and technology leadership. The start date is by agreement.
