Are you an experienced E&I Technician looking for your next opportunity within pharma? We are currently looking for skilled E&I Technicians for a large pharmaceutical project in Kalundborg.

At Job-Link, we are currently recruiting experienced E&I Technicians for a 12-month assignment, with the possibility of extension.

We are particularly interested in people who thrive on site, close to the equipment, and enjoy taking ownership of getting systems ready for commissioning in a GMP environment.

What you can expect

You will help ensure that instruments, signals, and installations actually work in practice before handover to Automation and C&Q.

This is not a design role – it is about execution, testing, troubleshooting, and getting things working in the field.

Responsibilities

• Verify E&I installations, including cabling, terminations, and tagging
• Set up and configure instruments on site
• Perform loop checks, signal testing, and troubleshooting
• Support power-up of MCCs, instruments, and process equipment
• Work with industrial networks and communication protocols such as Profinet, AS-i, and Profibus
• Support Automation during loop checks and commissioning
• Identify and resolve issues directly on site
• Ensure systems are ready for qualification

Your background

• Strong hands-on experience with E&I installation, maintenance, or commissioning
• Experience working with instruments and process equipment within pharma or similar industries
• Solid understanding of loop drawings, P&IDs, and signal flow
• Familiarity with PLC/DCS environments, such as Siemens and ABB 800xA
• Experience working under GMP requirements, permit systems, and safety procedures
• You prefer being on site rather than behind a desk
• You take ownership and work actively to resolve issues
• You are structured in your approach to testing and troubleshooting
• You collaborate easily across disciplines, including Mechanical, Automation, IT, and C&Q
• You understand the importance of safety, LOTO, and documentation

• Location: Kalundborg
• Duration: 12 months, with possibility of extension
