Energy Revenue Management Director

MINDWEISS

On behalf of engira, we are looking for an Energy Revenue Management Director to lead and further develop a commercially critical area within renewable energy. The role combines energy market strategy, PPAs, hedging, forecasting and portfolio optimization with leadership responsibility and close collaboration across engira’s international organization, all with the aim of maximizing the value of a growing renewable energy portfolio.

As Energy Revenue Management Director, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of engira’s renewable energy portfolio through energy market strategy, commercial optimization and active management of market exposure. You will take ownership of the Energy Revenue Management function and play a key role in further developing the area as engira’s portfolio and merchant exposure evolve.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • developing and executing energy market strategies across engira’s portfolio and development pipeline
  • leading PPA origination, negotiations and contract management
  • developing hedging strategies in close collaboration with Risk Management
  • optimizing revenues from merchant exposure, battery storage and flexibility markets
  • owning revenue and cash flow forecasting and improving forecast accuracy
  • monitoring energy market developments and translating insights into commercial recommendations
  • supporting route-to-market decisions for new projects and assets
  • building and maintaining relationships with traders, offtakers, utilities and external advisors
  • leading and developing the Energy Management team
  • acting as a trusted advisor and internal expert on energy markets and commercial optimization

You will report directly to Chief Revenue Officer and join the leadership team within the CRO area, where you will work closely with engira’s Country Directors and other key stakeholders across the organization. You will lead two colleagues based in Poland and Southern Germany and play an important role in developing both the team and the Energy Revenue Management function as the business evolves. Collaboration will be a central part of the role, particularly with Finance, Risk Management and Development, giving you a broad interface across engira’s international organization.

Experienced energy market professional with commercial judgement

We imagine that your educational background is within Economics, Finance, Engineering or a related field, and that you have built solid experience from the energy sector. You have a strong understanding of European power markets and are comfortable navigating changing market conditions, balancing commercial opportunities with risk and making well-founded decisions along the way. We also imagine that you bring leadership experience, strong analytical capabilities and a commercial perspective that allows you to see both the detail and the bigger picture. You communicate confidently in English and are skilled at turning complex market dynamics into clear priorities and practical direction.

Collaborative leader with a clear sense of direction

You are comfortable taking the lead in your area and making decisions in a market that is constantly evolving. You combine commercial instinct with curiosity and enjoy turning complexity into clear direction for others. Building strong relationships comes naturally to you, and you work well across functions and countries. You value collaboration, but you are equally comfortable challenging existing thinking and bringing new perspectives to the table.
