Who are we?

Sanos is a full circle clinical research and development organization with headquarter in Søborg, near Copenhagen, Denmark. The organization consists of around 200 employees, and is composed of six independent business units, each contributing to the comprehensive clinical research services provided. These units include NBCD, Sanos Clinic, Sanos Supply, Studies&Me, Blueskin, and Omicron.

We play a critical role in developing new medication and treatment options, and work diligently to bring new medication faster to the patients.


Your key roles and responsibilities

The Site Contract Manager is responsible for negotiating and executing clinical trial agreements and site budgets for our global Phase 1–3 trials, ensuring timely site activation and appropriate contractual and financial terms.

  • Lead the end-to-end negotiation and execution of Clinical Trial Agreements, amendments and site budgets.
  • Act as the main contact for contractual and budget discussions with sites, institutions and sponsors.
  • Drive contracts to signature within agreed timelines and escalate legal, operational or financial issues as needed.
  • Maintain contract trackers and provide clear status updates to study teams and management.
  • Coordinate with Clinical Operations, Clinical Proposals and Finance, including handover for site payment setup in Veeva.
  • Support continuous improvement of contracting templates, processes and tools.


Travel: Little, if any, travel is expected.

Work location: Søborg, Denmark.


Desired skills and experience

  • Hands-on site contracting experience from a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or clinical research environment.
  • Strong experience negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements and site budgets, preferably across multiple countries.
  • Good understanding of study start-up and the link between contracting, site activation and study delivery.
  • Ability to identify contractual, commercial and operational risks and escalate appropriately.
  • Experience with trackers and reporting tools; knowledge of Veeva site payment setup is an advantage.
  • Strong written and spoken English.


Success criteria includes

  • Driving contract execution within agreed project timelines
  • Support achieving First Site Activated as well as Last Site Activated
  • Contribute to reduction of contracting cycles and cycle times, and ensure sustainable and compliant budget agreements.
