Test Engineer – Help Ensure the Quality Behind Exceptional Sound
Join Pascal and play a key role in ensuring the quality of world-class professional audio solutions. As a Test Engineer, you'll help deliver reliable, high-performance software that powers products used by leading global audio brands.
You'll become part of our Software team in Herlev, working alongside two experienced Test Engineers and collaborating closely with software developers, hardware engineers, and product teams. This is an opportunity to influence both product quality and the way testing evolves as Pascal continues its journey from start-up to scale-up.
What You'll Do
Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated software tests
Develop and maintain test cases and test scenarios based on requirements and user stories
Work closely with software developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects
Ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle in an agile environment
Contribute to improving test processes, methodologies, and quality standards
Support the integration of testing into development and release processes
Participate actively in sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives
Help strengthen quality assurance practices as the organization continues to mature
What You Bring
Experience as a Test Engineer, QA Engineer, or similar role in a software or technical development environment
Experience with test design and execution of manual and/or automated testing
Experience working with agile development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or similar
Experience writing and maintaining test cases based on requirements and user stories
A solid understanding of software development and the ability to collaborate closely with developers
Excellent communication skills in English
It's a Plus If You Also Bring
Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Experience testing desktop applications (Electron, Tauri, or similar)
Experience working with audio products, embedded systems, or hardware-near software
Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar bug tracking tools
Danish language skills
