Senior Security Specialist

the LEGO Group

Job Description

Just imagine helping protect people, operations and customers across the globe by spotting risks before they become incidents and turning information into action. Then make it real.

About The Role

As our Senior Security Specialist, you'll be part of the LEGO Group's Global Security Operations Centre, a global 24/7 function that supports colleagues, customers and business operations around the clock. This role includes day, night and weekend shifts as part of a continuous operations model. You'll combine real-time security monitoring and incident response with a strong analytical focus, helping identify emerging trends, assess risks and provide insight that strengthens security across the LEGO Group. It's a varied role where you'll support complex incidents, provide escalation support, contribute to operational improvements and help shape a more proactive, intelligence-led security capability.

Required Qualifications

  • Managed security monitoring activities within a security operations centre, control room, command centre or similar environment
  • Coordinated emergency response activities and escalations during real-time security incidents
  • Delivered incident response and response management across multiple stakeholders in time-critical situations
  • Operated CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring or comparable security technologies as part of security operations
  • Produced incident reports, security assessments or operational documentation with a high degree of accuracy
  • Led coordination efforts involving customers, emergency services, operational teams or senior stakeholders during security events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Applied security consulting expertise to support customers or business stakeholders
  • Used security alarm systems to support operational response and incident management

What you'll build

  • A trusted security capability that supports the LEGO Group's global operations 24/7
  • Effective incident response and escalation support during complex situations
  • Threat intelligence assessments and risk insights that help identify emerging risks and trends
  • Travel security support, operational documentation and continuous improvement activities
  • Strong stakeholder relationships across security, resilience and operational functions
  • Improvements to procedures, operational orders and ways of working as the capability continues to evolve

If you've worked in a role where you managed incidents in a 24/7 operational environment, coordinated stakeholders under pressure, and used security technologies to support response activities, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to analyse information, connect patterns, communicate clearly and turn insight into practical action.

Life on the team

You'll join the Global Security team, which sits within Operations and provides a global security capability for the LEGO Group. We work closely together through structured handovers, operational briefings, incident reviews and ongoing knowledge sharing. Our hybrid rhythm is built on collaboration, trust and mutual support. Strong analytical thinking, critical thinking and problem solving are central to how we operate. We're looking for someone who's naturally curious, enjoys investigating trends and risks, and is motivated by finding new ways to strengthen security for the LEGO Group, our customers and our stakeholders. Joining the team offers the opportunity to help shape a capability that is evolving from a reactive security function into a more proactive, intelligence-led and resilience-focused operation.

What success looks like

Success means balancing real-time operational demands with proactive intelligence and risk assessment. You'll be trusted to identify patterns, assess emerging threats and provide recommendations that help strengthen decision-making across the organisation. Over the next 12 to 18 months, you'll help expand threat intelligence capabilities, strengthen crisis management integration, improve operational standards and support the development of a broader resilience capability. You'll work closely with Global Security leadership, regional security teams, crisis management and business continuity colleagues, executive stakeholders, external customers and specialist security partners while helping shape the future direction of security across the LEGO Group.

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. However, please note we do amend or withdraw our jobs and reserve the right to do so at any time, including prior to any advertised closing date. So, if you're interested in this role we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
