We are currently seeking an experienced JV & Corporate Accountant to provide Technical Assistance Services (TAS) within the Finance & Accounting Department.
The successful candidate will support the execution and control of accounting activities across multiple joint ventures and legal entities, with a particular focus on joint account closures, cash calls, partner billing, financial reporting, SOX controls and SAP.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant with a strong background in joint venture accounting within the energy, oil & gas or similar industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual joint account closures, including accruals, repostings, allocations, depreciation, stock adjustments and customer invoicing.
- Perform detailed balance sheet reviews for joint account ledgers.
- Control and review cash calls and partner billing statements.
- Prepare year-end financial statements for JV partners and the joint venture tax representative.
- Act as SOX Control Owner, ensuring assigned controls are performed, evidenced and documented.
- Support the JV closing calendar and identify potential accounting errors.
- Implement corrective actions and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Apply Group accounting procedures and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for SAP process improvements.
- Support the wider TGSB team with SAP postings, queries and testing.
- Liaise with JV partners, external auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in external, financial and cost recovery audits.
- Support the Business Finance and SAP project teams in relation to Unisol.
- Provide ad hoc accounting support to the team and Accounting Manager.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Accounting and Finance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial standards.
- Previous experience in Joint Venture (JV) accounting is highly desirable.
- Experience within oil & gas, energy or another complex project environment would be advantageous.
- Strong SAP experience, ideally including FI, CO, JV and BW modules.
- Experience with financial reporting, month-end/year-end close and audit processes.
- Understanding of SOX controls and compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider finance team.
- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with JV partners, auditors and internal stakeholders.
The successful candidate must therefore be comfortable working to strict deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and financial control.
Training: No specific contractor-funded or company-provided training is anticipated for this assignment.
If you have strong JV Accounting, SAP FI/CO/JV and energy-sector finance experience, and are available for a 12-month onshore assignment starting in October 2026, we would be keen to hear from you.
