About Team
Pure is a research management system used by more than 600 research institutions across 50 countries. Our global team includes colleagues in Denmark, the Americas, Japan, and Singapore.
We are looking for a person to join a technology migration project in Aalborg.
About the Role
You will guide clients through the transition from the current Pure Portal to our future offering, the New Pure Portal (NPP). A Pure portal is essentially a website presenting the research production of the Pure client. The position is dedicated to the migration project and does not include normal Pure support activities.
Working closely with clients, the migration team, and software developers, you will identify and document migration issues, communicate progress and next steps, and help keep each migration moving forward.
This is a temporary project position for the remainder of 2026. Depending on business needs and project progress, the position may be extended well into 2027.
Responsibilities
- Guide clients through the migration process.
- Understand and document technical and functional issues.
- Communicate progress, decisions, and next steps clearly.
- Coordinate activities and share updates with the migration team.
- Work with software developers to investigate and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate project and client documentation.
- Identify recurring challenges and opportunities to improve the migration process.
- Take ownership of assigned clients and activities through completion.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong command of English, both verbally and in writing. Danish is not required.
- Experience with client communication, customer service, technical support, software implementation, technology migration, or a similar area is an advantage.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- The ability to understand client needs and explain technical information clearly.
- A structured approach with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with clients, project colleagues, and software developers.
- Curiosity, initiative, and the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
