Connected Wind Services Danmark

Hi Network,

If you want to join a green journey, this might be something for you.

Connected Wind Service is hiring Experienced Onshore Service Technicians, Special Project Technicians, and AT/CT Profiles for Denmark. This combined job advertisement is structured to attract top wind industry talent for both local service contracts on Zealand (Sjælland) and heavy-lift, rotational component exchange projects.

Join the Team: Wind Turbine Service & Special Project Technicians

Are you an experienced wind technician looking for flexibility, high-voltage challenges, and a strong safety culture? At Connected Wind Service, we are expanding our teams to meet the growing demand for onshore service and complex main component exchanges. We are looking for local heroes on Zealand and flexible travelers for our Special Projects teams. [1]

Choose Your Path: Local Service or Main Component Rotation

We are recruiting for three distinct profiles. Let us know which one fits your expertise:

  • Onshore Service Technicians (Zealand): You will handle daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and scheduled service of onshore wind turbines across Zealand. You enjoy having a regional base and ensuring optimal turbine performance close to home.
  • Special Project Technicians (Rotational): You will travel to various sites to perform heavy-lift operations and main component exchanges (gearboxes, generators, main shafts, and blades). This role operates on a fixed rotation schedule. [2, 3]
  • Advanced Profiles (AT / CT): If you are an Authorized Technician (AT) or Competent Technician (CT) with specialized switching, safety, or troubleshooting certifications, we have senior positions ready for you.

️ Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain & Repair: Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic servicing on multi-brand onshore turbines.
  • Heavy Component Exchange: Execute complex retrofits and major component replacements (Special Projects team).
  • Troubleshoot: Diagnose complex faults and restore turbine functionality safely and efficiently.
  • Safety Leadership: Adhere to strict HSE guidelines, perform risk assessments, and maintain high safety standards.
  • Documentation: Complete digital service reports, checklists, and technical documentation. [4]

Your Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven track record as a Wind Turbine Technician (multi-brand experience with Vestas, Siemens, or Senvion is a plus).
  • Certifications: Valid GWO (Global Wind Organisation) certificates are required.
  • Advanced Status: Current or previous AT/CT status is highly valued.
  • Technical Education: Background as an electrician, mechanic, auto-mechanic, wind technician, or similar industrial trade.
  • Languages: Strong English communication skills (Danish is a plus for the Zealand service team).
  • Driver's License: Valid European Category B license is mandatory. [5, 6]

What We Offer

  • Work-Life Balance: Structured rotational schedules for project work, or predictable regional schedules for the Zealand team.
  • Professional Growth: Continuous training, multi-brand skill development, and clear pathways to achieve or renew AT/CT status.
  • Top-Tier Equipment: Access to modern service vans, high-quality tools, and premium workwear.
  • Strong Culture: An open, collaborative, and safety-first working environment with skilled peers.
