GenAI Strategist

Help shape how AI creates value in wholesale banking at the intersection of business strategy, technology and transformation. You will identify high-value GenAI opportunities, assess their business impact, and help define how AI transforms products, processes and ways of working across LC&I.
What You Will Be Doing
Working within the Digital Transformation Office, you will help shape the direction of LC&I's GenAI agenda by assessing business impact, challenging assumptions and bringing clarity to complex choices. You will collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organisation to understand workflows, pain points and strategic opportunities where AI can reshape how we create value. By connecting emerging AI capabilities with business needs and strategic priorities, you will help identify where AI can create the greatest value and influence how LC&I evolves in the years ahead.
- Identify strategic GenAI priorities and reusable capabilities across LC&I
- Engage with stakeholders to understand workflows and improvement opportunities
- Develop recommendations on what to prioritise, accelerate or stop
- Create transparency on expected benefits, progress and risks
- Challenge assumptions and guide complex investment decisions
- Strong analytical and problem-structuring capabilities with commercial understanding
- Strong curiosity for AI and emerging technologies, and an interest in how they can create business value by reshaping products, processes and ways of working
- Ability to turn complex topics into clear, decision-ready recommendations
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and challenging assumptions constructively
- 3-7 years of experience within strategy, transformation, consulting, product development or AI-related initiatives
- Strong communication skills with ability to create concise materials
- Pragmatic mindset balancing future ambition with business realities
You will work at the centre of strategic discussions with significant freedom to explore where AI creates value. This role offers close collaboration with senior leadership and the opportunity to help shape how work gets done in LC&I. We support hybrid working with 3 to 4 days per week in the office to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.
