District Manager – Five Guys Copenhagen
Five Guys Scandinavia
We're the burger restaurant with the uncomplicated formula: burgers and fries cooked to perfection, with no frozen ingredients. We've stuck to the same "perfect and serve" philosophy since our family business began in 1986, no freezers, no shortcuts, just fresh produce and a passion for great food.
Five Guys is one of the fastest-growing burger brands in the world, and we're expanding across Scandinavia with new openings planned in the coming years. Copenhagen is a key part of that journey, and we're looking for a hands-on District Manager to help lead it.
About The Role
As District Manager, you'll drive the performance of Five Guys restaurants in the Copenhagen area. This is not an office job. You'll lead from the front, spending your time in the restaurants, supporting managers and crew, and making sure every location delivers perfect burgers, fast service, and a team that's proud of what they do.
You'll be an expert in all things people, operations, and commercial performance. You know exactly what it takes to build highly engaged teams, and why that's the foundation of a profitable business. People follow you because they trust you, not because they fear the consequences.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own performance across your restaurants, People, quality, and results
- Lead daily operations, ensuring every location meets or exceeds Five Guys standards for food quality, speed, and customer experience
- Coach and develop restaurant managers and crew, building strong teams with clear succession plans
- Drive sales and operational excellence by analysing performance data and turning it into clear action plans
- Manage financial performance, including P&L, labour planning, food cost, and waste
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, health and safety, and labour regulations
- Support new restaurant openings as we grow in Denmark
- Recruit, retain, and engage high-performing people, and create a culture of accountability and pride
- An experienced restaurant leader with a proven track record in high-volume, fast-paced operations, QSR experience is ideal.
- Multi-site leadership experience is a strong plus, but not a must, what matters is that you've led busy teams to great results and are ready for the next step
- A natural coach: you set high standards, hold people accountable, and do it with warmth and care
- Commercially sharp, with solid experience managing sales, labour, and P&L
- Calm and steady under pressure, you stay grounded when things get busy
- Ambitious and self-aware: you set bold goals, push yourself to exceed them, and know when to ask for help
- Fluent in English; Danish is a plus
- Full-time position based in Copenhagen
- Since we're open seven days a week, your schedule includes evenings and weekends
- Travel between locations in the Copenhagen area is part of the role
- A probationary period applies
