Sales Development Representative (SDR)
FoodOp
Running a profitable and enjoyable foodservice business without compromising chef creativity is incredibly difficult. FoodOp is on a mission to change that globally.
FoodOp is the co-pilot for professional kitchens, used daily in more than 800 kitchens to manage recipes, menus, procurement, and reporting. As our SDR, you will play a key role in building our pipeline and supporting the next stage of our growth.
The ideal candidate sees the SDR role as the first step towards becoming an enterprise SaaS Account Executive.
Please note: You must be fluent in Danish and English.
About The Role
As an SDR, you will:
- Generate and qualify new leads through outbound prospecting across phone, email, social media, and events
- Research and identify ideal customer profiles within contract catering, hospitality, and public-sector foodservice
- Book high-quality discovery meetings for the sales team
- Collaborate on go-to-market strategy, sharing insights from conversations to improve messaging, segmentation, and targeting
- Maintain clean CRM hygiene (Zoho) with accurate activity tracking and lead qualification notes
- Represent FoodOp at industry events and meetings
We imagine that you:
- Have 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or lead generation (preferably from a call center, SaaS or tech)
- Have a confident phone presence and the resilience to handle rejections
- Are comfortable running structured outbound outreach through cold calling, email, and LinkedIn
- Have a proactive, self-starting mindset, motivated to build something new rather than inherit a finished playbook
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and enjoy taking ownership of projects with real impact
Ways of Working
You will be part of a small, high-impact commercial team working across Denmark and the UK. Decisions are made through dialogue and alignment, and we value curiosity, ownership, and continuous learning.
As our new SDR, you’ll be a key part of our go to market team and work closely with Marketing and the Customer Success team.
How To Apply
We review applications on an ongoing basis, so please send your CV and a short note outlining why this role and FoodOp is a good fit for you.
We care more about your ability to engage prospects, understand customer challenges, and create meaningful conversations than about the number of years you've worked in sales.
We look forward to hearing from you!
