Then you might be the colleague we are looking for to join our Crewing & HR team in Copenhagen as a Payroll Accountant. You will join a team of passionate and supportive colleagues across Sweden, Denmark and the UK.


YOUR PROFILE

To thrive in this role, you are structured, detail-oriented and enjoy working with numbers and administration. You take pride in delivering high-quality work, are service-minded and enjoy supporting colleagues across the organisation.


You are comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with your team. As our business is international and fast-moving, you adapt easily to changing priorities and communicate confidently in English.

Experience within payroll is an advantage, but we also welcome candidates who are eager to specialise and develop within payroll administration.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Structured, organised and quality-focused
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good administrative and system skills
  • Comfortable working in Microsoft Office
  • Service-minded with strong communication skills
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Willing to travel to our Swedish office a few times per year and visit one of our vessels annually
  • Experience within payroll administration is an advantage


YOUR TASKS

  • Prepare and quality-assure monthly payroll
  • Support employees with payroll-related questions
  • Maintain and improve payroll systems and processes
  • Interpret Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs)
  • Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations and documentation
  • Handle payroll administration, including sickness and parental leave reporting
  • Support budgeting processes


We use Omega for payroll administration of our seafarers and DanLøn for our shore-based employees. Experience with either system is an advantage, but not a requirement.


TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Location: Copenhagen (DK)

The position is 50% (100% is 37 hours per week excluding lunch).
