Software & AI Development Architect

We are looking for an experienced Software & AI Development Architect to become a central part of our continued digital development. With direct reference to our AI Lead, you will join our Business Development department, which consists of five dedicated colleagues focused on innovation, digital solutions, ESG, and business development.

Your role

In this newly established role as our new Software & AI Development Architect, you will be responsible for RIIS’ tech stack for future AI and Software development initiatives — from traditional AI to GenAI. You will play a key role in developing and defining our technology stack, platforms, internal tools, and integration solutions. You will take responsibility for backend, frontend, databases, cloud infrastructure, and software architecture while serving as an important sparring partner in both technical and business-related decisions.

You will work in the Business Development team on digitalization, automation, and the development of solutions that support both the business and the company’s strategic focus areas, including data-driven processes.

You thrive in hands-on development but are also motivated by taking ownership, creating structure, and building robust solutions that make a real impact across the organization.

Your responsibilities

• Develop modern full-stack solutions
• Design and build APIs, services, and integrations
• Work with cloud platforms and deployment pipelines
• Ensure high quality through code reviews, testing, and CI/CD
• Be responsible for software architecture, performance, and security
• Translate business needs into technical solutions
• Define technical standards and best practices
• Work with new technologies within AI, automation, and data-driven solutions
