Your Position
In our Rig & Marine division, we are seeking an Electrical Technician who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and in getting the job done safely. This role offers numerous intriguing challenges, including yard stays and modification projects that contribute to the green transition within drilling rigs and special vessels. Depending on your experience, you may also act as Working Supervisor / Foreman on selected projects, leading a small team of electricians and cable pullers.

You will join a team of 5 colleagues working both locally and globally on projects within our division. The Rig & Marine division is comprised of 450 colleagues worldwide. This full-time position is based at our headquarters in Esbjerg, Denmark. You should expect between 100-150 travel days per year, with occasional work at our yard or locally in Esbjerg.

Your Tasks And Responsibilities
You will carry out electrical installation and maintenance work on our projects and report progress to your Supervisor or Project Manager. Quality, safety, and good order in tools and materials are essential in this role.
- Perform electrical installation work such as cable pulling, glanding, termination, and mounting of equipment according to drawings and specifications.
- Carry out testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning support on electrical systems on drilling rigs and special vessels.
- Work in accordance with the permit-to-work system and all HSE rules and regulations, contributing to a strong safety culture on site.
- Register your hours daily and help keep track of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Cooperate with colleagues and other contractors on site and report progress and any deviations to your Supervisor.
- When acting as Working Supervisor / Foreman: lead and coordinate the workforce on site, ensure quality and adherence to deadlines, and approve daily timesheets before handover to the Project Manager.
We imagine that you are very independent and thrive when things change rapidly – sometimes by the hour. You are passionate about what you do, and you are eager to get things done in the right way while collaborating with various stakeholders.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you have:
- A background as an electrician, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the offshore or marine industry is preferred.
- Experience reading and working from electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written, is essential.
- Experience with fibre optic splicing is an additional advantage.
- Experience as a Working Supervisor or Foreman – or the ambition to take on that responsibility – is a strong advantage.
