About The Job

Are you ready to drive innovation and bring new products to market? As our New Product Development Project Manager at Alfa Laval in Kolding, you will play a key role in leading strategic product development projects within our Hygienic Fluid Handling business.

You will collaborate across engineering, product management, operations, sourcing, quality, and commercial teams to ensure successful delivery of innovative solutions. Your work will have a direct impact on our product portfolio, customers, and business growth.

  • Lead large, complex New Product Development (NPD) projects, ensuring structured execution and clear ownership throughout the project lifecycle
  • Facilitate collaboration across engineering, product management, operations, quality, sourcing, and commercial teams to deliver innovative products to market
  • Drive project planning, execution, and follow-up, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs
  • Manage scope, timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies, and risks to ensure successful project delivery
  • Act as the central point of contact for internal stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and effective communication
  • Coordinate decision-making processes and facilitate steering committee meetings
  • Prepare and maintain key project documentation and reporting
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management in a complex, international matrix organization
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices, methods, and governance
  • Take responsibility for project outcomes and resource management within agreed frameworks and budgets

What You Know

We’re looking for candidates who bring strong project management capabilities, technical understanding, and a passion for product development:

  • Proven experience managing complex product development or R&D projects in an industrial environment
  • Strong stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and project execution skills
  • Project Management Certification (e.g., Prince2, PMP, Scrum, Lean, Agile) is an advantage
  • Technical background, preferably with engineering experience
  • Experience working in large organizations and cross-functional teams
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or another relevant STEM field
  • English language skills at a business level, both written and verbal
