We are looking for a talent acquisition specialist to join our global talent acquisition team and be a part of COWI’s business support. People and Organisation in COWI numbers more than 100 skilled HR specialists across the globe. We are dedicated to support our culture, tell our stories, build our brand, optimize our processes, and attract, develop and retain COWI's most important asset: Our people.
You will join our global team of talent acquisition experts and work closely with colleagues in the team reporting to Global TA Lead. We are a big international team with more than 30 recruitment professionals situated in Sweden, Denmark, U.K., India, Canada and Norway. We collaborate closely across borders and are central contributors to COWI’s success.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Manage and execute the full recruitment lifecycle for business-critical positions with a focus on sourcing and activating passive candidates.
- Local market intelligence and monitoring of the job market for potential talent sourcing openings.
- Run and develop talent acquisition initiatives and projects on business-critical positions.
- Ensure collaboration with colleagues in the global Talent Acquisition team, share market insights, know-how and best- practice.
- Ensure compliance in accordance with labour law, legislation, GDPR and COWI Global TA code of conduct.
This is a fixed-term role as maternity cover for a period of 12 months.

On top of that, you will have:
- A degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of full recruitment life cycle experience, preferably obtained in an international environment.
- Demonstrated success in connecting with large candidate pools and developing effective pipelines, including passive candidates, through LinkedIn and other sourcing platforms.
- Good business acumen and ability to translate business requirements into talent acquisition plans.
- Ability to communicate effortlessly in local language/English – verbally and in written.
- Experience in navigating a multi-cultural environment in a multinational organization.
- Certified in assessment tools and assessment feedback.
