We are looking for a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Advisor to take on a corporate role with a strong connection to our operational activities. The position is closely linked to a portfolio of international offshore wind farm projects, where DHI contributes to the installation and deployment of our products at international wind farm sites.
You will initially work closely with a team of specialists engaged in offshore and fieldwork operations, supporting safe execution across different business units and diverse project sites. A key focus of the role is to strengthen and further develop our safety culture, ensuring a proactive and consistent approach to health and safety across the organisation.
Responsibilities And Challenges
As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting and aligning DHI’s offshore and fieldwork operations globally, helping us manage risks and continuously strengthen our health and safety practices.
This is a global role, and some travel is expected, including visits to DHI offices and project locations worldwide. Your engagement - whether through improving processes, facilitating dialogue, or delivering training - will be essential in driving a strong safety culture across the organisation.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Ensuring an effective management system and driving continuous improvements in our health and safety practices, including maintaining and supporting the ongoing development of our ISO 45001 certification
- Engaging in projects from the early stages, including installation activities, to ensure a proactive approach to health and safety, while supporting project managers, participating in client and project meetings, and building strong engagement with client HSE counterparts.
- Supporting global business units in meeting health and safety requirements, while ensuring robust and up-to-date risk assessments for offshore and fieldwork activities.
- Strengthening organisational alignment through consistent processes, expectations, and knowledge sharing across offshore and fieldwork operations, while developing and delivering training programs to enhance awareness and competency in health and safety procedures.
- Communicating proactively about health and safety to strengthen awareness, engagement, and a positive safety culture across the organisation
We are looking for a new colleague who have the following qualifications:
- Solid experience in offshore operations and fieldwork, ideally from the energy or offshore industry
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- A good team player and showcases an open-minded, enthusiastic and responsible attitude.
- Proficiency in English and potentially also Danish.
- Able to work independently and manage priorities effectively to meet reporting deadlines
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in Denmark, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
