Faerch Group

Kickstart your finance career in a global treasury team – where your analytical skills help shape smarter, data-driven decisions across Faerch.

Team Purpose

Group Treasury safeguards Faerch's financial stability by managing liquidity, financial risk, and capital structure. We enable the business to operate and grow with confidence – driving process excellence and scalable solutions across the Group.

About Faerch

Faerch is a leading supplier of circular, rigid food packaging with integrated recycling capability. We serve food manufacturers, food service providers, and retailers around the world with our network of state-of-the-art production facilities across Europe and the US. Today, more than 5,000 employees are part of the Faerch Group, which is part of A.P. Moller Holding. Working at Faerch means joining a purpose-driven company focused on sustainability and innovation. We invest in your growth and offer a supportive, international environment where people thrive.

Your Role

As a Student Worker in Group Treasury, you will support the treasury function in developing and enhancing analytical capabilities within financial risk management, cash flow forecasting, and treasury reporting. You will work closely with experienced treasury professionals and contribute directly to strengthening data-driven decision-making across Faerch.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a curious and analytical student who enjoys working with numbers, models, and data. You bring a structured mindset, take ownership of your tasks, and are motivated by turning complex financial information into clear insights. You thrive in an international environment and are eager to learn from a professional treasury team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of financial risk models, including exposure analysis and scenario modelling.
  • Assist in building and improving cash flow forecasting models and processes.
  • Develop and maintain treasury reporting – both ad hoc and for management purposes.
  • Contribute to automation and standardisation of treasury processes and reporting.
  • Support selected operational treasury tasks, including payments and cash management as needed.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Currently studying a Bachelor or Master in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative field.
  • Strong analytical and modelling skills with a structured, detail-oriented approach.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Targit, Power BI or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Curiousity regarding AI and how AI and agents can support Faerch in automizing and optimzing routine tasks.
  • Fluent in English – both written and spoken.

Success in This Role

In the first 6–12 months, you will have built solid knowledge of Faerch's treasury processes, contributed to improving our cash flow forecasting and reporting, and delivered analyses that support better decision-making. Over time, you will become a valued sparring partner within the team and grow your practical finance toolbox in a real-world corporate setting.

Meet the Team

You will join Group Treasury – a small, engaged team working at the heart of Faerch's finance function. We collaborate closely across Group Finance and local finance teams in Europe and North America. The vibe is professional, curious, and collaborative, with room for both focused analytical work and good conversations.
