WCM & Quality Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a WCM & Quality Engineer to support quality performance, process stability, and continuous improvement across our production environment. This role combines hands-on process analysis, quality system support, audit participation, and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) activities to improve safety, product quality, and machine efficiency. The position works closely with production, quality, and improvement teams and plays an active role in translating data into practical operational improvements.
This role will be based in Hjørring, Denmark and reports to the WCM & Quality Manager. You will belong to legal entity Tetra Pak Inventing A/S.
What You Will Do
- Support quality and WCM priorities across the production line
- Act as a key contributor in quality improvement and process performance follow-up
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, waste, and efficiency performance
- Monitor and analyse process key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities
- Support corrective and preventive actions related to process instability and quality losses
- Participate in continuous improvement teams and structured problem-solving activities
- Support quality system management and compliance activities
- Contribute to internal, external, and customer audits and follow-up on findings
- Promote WCM methods, quality awareness, and capability building in daily operations
- Develop analyses and reports that support operational decision-making
- Benchmark and share best practices across teams and factories
We believe you have
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field
- Experience in manufacturing, quality, process improvement, or operational excellence
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate operational data into practical actions and improvements
- Good collaboration and communication skills across functions
- Experience with quality management systems and audit processes is good to have
- Knowledge of WCM, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methods is good to have
- Experience with process control, Statistical Process Control (SPC), reporting tools, or manufacturing data analysis is good to have
- Master’s degree in a relevant field is good to have
