Business Development Manager, Brand & Technology Licensing

As our Business Development Manager for Brand & Technology licensing, you will join the Business Development & Strategic Partnerships department in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark. You will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and closing commercial licensing partnerships. Your focus will be on maximizing the value of our brand equity and technology portfolio, driving new revenue streams, and managing complex stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities


  • Drive pipeline development by proactively identifying, pitching, and securing new business opportunities for brand licensing and technology commercialization
  • Ensure execution and delivery of partner projects to meet commercial objectives, working closely with key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Act as the commercial lead for key accounts, managing relations and long-term development with partner teams through QBRs, weekly status calls, updates and strategic planning meetings
  • Own the long-term roadmap for specific partner(s), ensuring that the overall partnership, and specific projects, align with the business (growth) objectives of the Strategic Partnerships function


What You Bring

You are a results-driven business development professional with strong commercial acumen and experience navigating the complexities of IP licensing. You know how to run the full deal cycle — from first pitch through negotiation to close — and you stay engaged beyond signing, driving the execution and delivery to market. Further, you have experience in strategic account management of high-profile relationships and the ability to deliver results in complex, cross-functional environments. You bring the ability to deliver strong presentations, refined negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting relationships across cultures and time zones.

Moreover, you bring:


  • A Master’s degree in International Business, Management, Marketing, Economics, Brand Management, Engineering or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or account management, with a proven track record in brand licensing, technology transfer, or IP commercialization
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and well-developed sales skills, working with highly complex and/or technical propositions
  • Solid project and account management skills, with experience in complex matrix environments and different cultural contexts
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to identify, communicate and execute on synergies and opportunities between brands
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Chinese is advantageous

Compensation: Comprehensive salary and benefits package.

Location: Kongens Lyngby, Denmark +hybrid working

Start date: As soon as possible.

Travel: Approx. 20 - 30 days per year.
