Revenue Controller

Your New Role

In the position as Revenue Controller, you will be an integral part of our dynamic Finance team. Together with the other Revenue Controllers in a newly established Revenue team, you will play a key role in controlling, delivering input to invoicing, securing accurate and timely information to our customers and stakeholders, being a key player in the process from contract to invoice, taking part in the month-end closing, and optimising current processes and solutions.

Your primary tasks will include:

• Collecting and ensuring correct input for invoicing according to customer contracts
• Preparing invoice requests, payment requests, and invoice settlements with input from Programme Management, together with our Accounts Receivable (AR) accountants in our Shared Service Centre in Poland
• Ensuring correct revenue recognition and reporting of revenue, contract assets, contract liabilities, and accounts receivable based on ongoing production and services
• Ensuring correct input and maintaining price list master data from contracts
• Assisting Programme Management in collecting and ensuring correct input from contracts for the AR department to issue final invoices
• Assisting in driving development and automation of contract-to-cash in SAP, Tableau, and other systems, collaborating with stakeholders
• Contributing to month-end, year-end, audit packages, and reporting
• Supporting best practices for revenue and programme controlling

Skills and knowledge we hope you possess

• BSc in Finance or Economics (or equivalent)
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in revenue accounting/controlling or a similar finance role
• Experience with revenue recognition principles and accounting is an advantage
• Team-oriented person with excellent problem-solving/judgement skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ability to interact and build trust across the organisation
• Structured and analytical mindset with the ability to work proactively and be self-driven
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
• Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the position, adding new responsibilities for the right candidate
• Experienced user of Excel
• Strong communication skills in English
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred

Your New Team

You will be part of a Finance department consisting of approximately 20 people. You will be surrounded by highly dedicated and skilled colleagues who all strive towards creating efficiency and quality. You will be part of a newly established Revenue team in Denmark and will report to the FP&A Manager in Finance, with a wide range of tasks within revenue controlling and finance.
