Skape Bio is an early-stage biotech company developing de novo designed miniprotein therapeutics for GPCRs, combining computational design, protein engineering, screening technologies, and translational science.
We are a collaborative, hands-on team based at the BioInnovation Institute in central Copenhagen, an innovation hub with exposure to the biotech startup ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Preparing culture media, agar plates, buffers, and reagents
- Restocking lab supplies across three floors
- Keeping track of stocks and placing orders for consumables
- Picking up packages and organising inventory
- Autoclaving glassware and lab materials
- Supporting lab clean-up and waste disposal routines
- Chemicals registration and laboratory risk assessments
- Enrolled in a relevant life science education: Biochemistry, Molecular Biomedicine, Biotechnology, Biology, or similar
- Preferably late bachelor’s or early master’s student, with at least one year left of studies
- Previous lab experience required; experience with buffer preparation important; DNA prep and/or cell culture is a plus
- Organised, responsible, and reliable with attention to detail
- Open, communicative, and forthcoming
- Expected workload is 12–15 hours per week, with availability for at least one full working day per week of minimum 6 hours.
- Compensation is 175 DKK per hour (plus 10% pension).
