Tech Ops Specialist - Network & Connectivity

Core Responsibilities
The Tech Ops Specialist will join our IT Asset Management team and be supporting our Network & Connectivity area by bringing your knowledge on asset management, purchasing and finance. As part of your role
- Drive procurement and pricing of network equipment.
- Create and manage purchase orders in Coupa.
- Manage vendor relationships, including deliveries, invoices, and communication.
- Lead recurring team meetings and support TPM project deliveries.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and lifecycle management of internet lines.
- Support network and connectivity planning, including TCO and equipment handling.
- Maintain asset data and drive ITAM process improvements (e.g., licensing, optimization).
- Optimize operational processes, including decommissioning, broker flows, AI testing, and inventory management.
The FinTechOps competency team, which is placed within Digital Platforms & Infrastructure (DPI) domain. We support technical product teams, covering network, cloud, hardware- and software asset management.
This role is a part of the Network & Connectivity area that enables the LEGO Group to scale by delivering a secure, reliable, and flexible network built on standardized solutions. It supports stable day-to-day operations and growth, especially in manufacturing where every production line depends on it, while also making it easier to adapt through self-service and strengthening overall cyber security.
We are an international team based at the vibrant LEGO Campus in Billund. The work environment is exciting, inspiring, and flexible – and we have some along the road!

The preferred candidate is a cool communicator who can work with all types of people at any level or function. Who knows how to ensure governance in a collaborative way, can communicate pros and cons of various approaches as well as influence and convince people when needed. Thus, being part of a team and a collaborative setting is something that energizes.
We encourage candidates with multiple backgrounds, e.g., IT, Procurement, Finance, Economics, or the like, that have ended up working with IT Asset Management through various career paths.
To succeed in this role, the right candidate already has experience of some of the following
- With IT Asset Management and reseller processes.
- Strong financial knowledge.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management.
- Data-driven approach to ensure we always optimize costs and ensure we make informed decisions.
- Energy towards optimization and automation of processes as well as building strong relations with the people you work with.
- Detail-oriented, responsible and has a flair for project- and vendor management.
- In flow, when you get to take ownership of tasks and projects.
- Enjoy working with Excel, Power BI or other data-related tools.
- Proficient in English both written and verbally.
This position is in Lead Professional Skyline. Relocation support is not offered.
