La Cabra
La Cabra
At La Cabra, architecture is an integral part of the experience we create. We believe hospitality extends beyond what is served. It is shaped by space, materials, light and the relationship between people and their surroundings.
We’re looking for an architect to join our small, ambitious team in Copenhagen.
You’ll play a central role in the design and development of La Cabra’s cafés, bakeries and roasteries across Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. Working from our studio in Nordhavn, you’ll be involved throughout the design process, from early concepts and spatial strategies to technical detailing, furniture development and on-site implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural projects from early concepts through detailed design and implementation.
- Produce and maintain Rhino models, drawings and presentation material throughout all project phases.
- Translate La Cabra’s architectural principles into site-specific cafés, bakeries and roasteries.
- Develop bespoke furniture, fixtures and architectural details.
- Coordinate with local architects, consultants, suppliers and contractors across international projects.
- Resolve technical and construction challenges while maintaining the integrity of the design.
- Conduct material research, mock-ups and on-site reviews to ensure a high level of execution.
- Take ownership of your projects while contributing to a collaborative studio environment.
- Have 2–5 years of professional experience in architecture.
- Have a strong understanding of construction, detailing and materiality.
- Are confident developing projects from concept through technical documentation.
- Are highly proficient in Rhino. Experience with Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.
- Enjoy solving technical challenges without compromising the architectural idea.
- Are comfortable taking ownership of projects and communicating directly with clients, consultants and contractors.
- Have a strong spatial intuition and a keen eye for proportion, atmosphere and detail.
- Are curious, collaborative and eager to learn.
