Senior Supplier Manager

At AutoProff, we're looking for a Senior Supplier Manager to help manage and develop our supplier and transport network across Europe. This is a hands-on role with a mix of operational and commercial responsibilities, where you'll work closely with suppliers and colleagues across the business to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

About the role

As our new Senior Supplier Manager, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, monitoring operational performance, and ensuring our supplier and transport network supports our business across Europe.

You'll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure reliable supplier performance, support day-to-day operations, and identify opportunities to improve the way we work. While you'll be involved in supplier and transport contracts, you'll collaborate closely with AutoScout24's Procurement team, who lead the commercial negotiations and sourcing activities, ensuring a consistent procurement approach across the group.

The position can be based at our headquarters in Vejle, Denmark, or at our office in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Let's dive into your key responsibilities, you will

  • Manage the daily collaboration with suppliers
  • Monitor supplier performance and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Follow up on delayed orders and resolve operational issues together with suppliers.
  • Coordinate transport vendors to ensure efficient logistics operations.
  • Implement and maintain suppliers
  • Maintain supplier rebate and kickback agreements.
  • Approve supplier invoices in Coupa.
  • Support claims and handle supplier escalations.
  • Ensure suppliers comply with contractual agreements and internal processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs.
  • Maintain supplier data, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting.
  • Work closely with Procurement, Operations, Finance, Customer Support, and other internal stakeholders.

The need-to-have skills

  • Several years of experience in Supplier Management, Procurement, Logistics, Transport Management, or a similar role.
  • Experience working with transport providers and logistics operations.
  • Experience managing supplier performance and service level agreements.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to support decisions.
  • Experience working with ERP or procurement systems (experience with Coupa is an advantage).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage several tasks and priorities at the same time.
  • Professional proficiency in English and German or Danish

The nice-to-have skills

  • Experience from an international technology, marketplace, automotive, or e-commerce company.
  • Experience with transport sourcing and freight procurement.
  • Experience handling supplier claims and disputes.
  • Experience working with dashboards and KPI reporting.
