VELUX

Step into a role that offers hands-on experience with strategic planning, performance management and business insights in an international and purpose driven environment. If you have a strong analytical mindset, enjoy working with data and are motivated by supporting strategic decision-making, you could be our next Student Worker in Strategic Planning & Knowledge Excellence.

Meet your future team

You will join the Strategic Planning & Knowledge Excellence (SP&KE) team, where we support strategic decision-making, performance management and the successful execution of key business priorities across the organisation. The team works closely with leadership and stakeholders across functions to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives, financial planning and organisational priorities.

As part of this collaborative environment, you will contribute to strategic and operational activities while gaining valuable insight into how strategy is translated into action in a large, international organisation. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and build a strong understanding of business performance, knowledge management and cross-functional collaboration.

What We Offer

In this part-time student role, you will gain practical experience with strategic planning and business operations while continuing your studies. You will work from our office in Hørsholm, and we offer flexible working hours aligned with your study programme.

More specifically, your tasks will be to:

  • Support financial planning processes, including forecasting, budgeting and reporting activities.
  • Contribute to the development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) that support strategic priorities.
  • Analyse data and prepare insights to support leadership decision-making.
  • Support the execution and follow-up of strategic initiatives across departments.
  • Maintain and optimise tools and frameworks used to track ongoing and future initiatives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of knowledge management practices and internal processes.
  • Prepare content, analyses and presentations for leadership meetings, strategy sessions and key internal events.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure alignment on priorities, deliverables and communication.
  • Support transparency and knowledge sharing by acting as a connector across teams and functions.

What You Will Bring

You are a motivated student who wants to develop strategic, analytical and professional skills while contributing actively to the team. Ideally, you are currently on your last year of a Bachelor’s degree or first year of a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Strategy or a related field. You thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy working with data and are comfortable engaging with stakeholders across different functions and levels of the organisation.

Moreover, we expect that you:

  • Have a strong analytical mindset and can translate data into actionable insights.
  • Have a structured and detail-oriented approach to your work.
  • Are organised and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Are proactive, self-driven and take ownership of your responsibilities.
  • Have strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Have experience with or an interest in GenAI tools; familiarity with Power BI is considered an advantage.
  • Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
