About The Role
As Manager, you will lead a team of 15 people comprising laboratory technicians and chemists working across our analytical development area. Your team operates in a dynamic setup with shifting priorities, where creating clarity, direction, and momentum is key. This is a leadership role with a strong focus on developing people, building engagement, and creating a high-performing team - while ensuring operational excellence.
Key accountabilities:
- Personnel management, including ensuring the right competencies, training, and development of employees in alignment with Fertin’s strategic priorities and internal guidelines
- Collaborating closely with managers, chemists, laboratory technicians, business owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery according to agreed plans
- Driving optimization initiatives together with other managers and specialists
- Ensuring effective operation of the laboratories and supporting continuous improvement
- Participating in approving documentation related to analytical methods and products
Analytical Development is responsible for establishing and performing analytical setups for new products during development. This includes a broad range of analytical methods, formats, and active ingredients.
You will join a department of approximately 40 dedicated colleagues and a leadership team of three.
Experience & competencies:
- Minimum a master’s degree in chemistry, pharmacy, or a related field.
- Team-oriented personality with strong interest and proven skills in collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Proactive personality with strong problem-solving skills.
- Organized approach to managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
- Experience in analytical chemistry, method validation, and documentation is an advantage.
- Effective communication skills in English and Danish, both written and verbal.
