As our Senior Account Manager, you will be ensuring the development of existing sales and the growth of our pipeline in a mature market, as well as pursuing opportunities in new markets. You will represent Kamstrup’s solutions, manage appointed customers in Denmark, and act as a trusted advisor turning needs into future-proof metering solutions while expanding existing business and pursuing new opportunities.

More specifically, you will be:

  • Developing and executing sales activities and account plans
  • Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers
  • Acquiring new customers within the C&I & Residential or the Water Utilities market in Denmark
  • Translating customer needs into innovative total solutions (hardware and software)
  • Analyzing customer requirements and market developments

Meet your future team

You will report directly to our Head of Sales for C&I & Utilities in Denmark, and become an integral part of the Danish sales team, responsible for expanding market presence, accelerating growth, and positioning our solutions as a preferred choice across key customers and partners. Beyond your daily team, you will collaborate with colleagues from functions such as Product Management, Bid Management, Sales Excellence, and Marketing.

Less About Us, More About You

We are looking for two Senior Account Manager, who can build and maintain long-term successful partnerships to our customers with a focus on either Water Utility customers or C&I & Residential customers. You achieve this by combining your strong technical knowledge with a commercial mindset and a value-based approach, knowing when to act, how to prioritize, and being willing to go the extra mile to deliver exceptional results.

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you:

  • Have minimum of 4-5 years of B2B sales experience in the technical industry
  • Demonstrate a proven track-record in technical and complex solution selling with long sales cycles, including building up a pipeline and working strategically with new accounts, while maintaining existing customers
  • Possess strong communication skills, a can-do mindset, and the ability to prioritize under pressure
  • Enable valuable dialogues with customers at all levels in the organization
  • Bring experience from the energy sector or a related sector working with efficiency and digitalization
  • Preferably hold a degree in Technology Management or Engineering with a commercial mindset or, alternatively, a degree in Business Administration combined with technical knowledge


As we are an international organization it is important that you are fluent in English and Danish.
