We are searching for two senior leaders to join our Global HR Leadership Team; both roles are as Heads of HR for a business area, anchored in our Group Management, also serving as Strategic Business Partner to the respective EVP – ROCKWOOL Group

Role Highlights
We are recruiting for two global HR leadership positions that combine strategic business partnering with end-to-end HR leadership across complex international business areas. In these roles, you will serve as a trusted advisor to an Executive Vice President at C-level, shape the people agenda for your business area, and lead HR delivery across your geographical scope. Both roles are anchored our global HR Leadership Team and are naturally deeply embedded members of the relevant leadership team of the EVP. This creates a uniquely influential position at the intersection of enterprise HR leadership and business area decision-making.

Role Overview
As Head of HR for your business area, you will be the primary strategic advisor to your EVP on matters relating to business and people strategy, organization and culture, leadership, succession pipeline with strategic workforce planning, performance, and enterprise-wide transformation. You will own the full people agenda across your designated scope and ensure business needs are translated into practical, high-impact HR priorities aligned with enterprise direction.
You will lead HR activities within your business area and geography through direct and indirect teams, ensuring strong execution across HR business partnering, site HR, HR services, employee relations, and compliance. The role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, organisational leadership, and operational discipline in a unique business operating model with a complex stakeholder landscape.
As the Head of HR, East Europe, Nordics & HQ, your HR teams are located across factory and office sites in Poland, Czech, Hungary, Romania, Nordic countries and Headquarter in Hedehusene, Denmark. You will be overall responsible for local HR delivery, working with and through your teams anchored in the relevant Operating Companies and countries. You will collaborate and work through HR in locations outside your own geographic scope, where EVP’s business area is represented and engaged in commercial activities.
The business area East Europe and Nordics consist of Insulation businesses, catering to customers within the construction and renovation industry, providing products and solutions for all major application areas for both residential and non-residential buildings. The business area also includes the Technical Insulation, a global business in ROCKWOOL, with solutions engineered to improve OEM products or system performance and enhance the production for process, off-shore and the marine industries.
As the Head of HR, Systems Division & Asia , your HR teams are located across factories and offices in Netherlands, Denmark, China, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Japan. You will be overall responsible for local HR delivery, working with and through your teams anchored in the relevant Operating Companies and countries. In this role, the collaboration through HR in locations outside your own geographic scope is especially important as the Systems Division is inherently global businesses operating across almost all countries in the Group.
Our Systems Division consists of the global brands Rockfon (acoustic ceilings and walls), Rockpanel (innovative facade panels), Grodan (sustainable stone wool substrate solutions for professional horticultural) and New Businesses (exploring new business opportunities). Across the Asian markets ROCKWOOL has factories producing core insulation products to the local markets across the region, serving customers within the construction and renovation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Partnership: Serve as the primary HR sparring partner to the EVP and business area leadership team on business strategy, organisation design, leadership effectiveness, workforce planning, and culture priorities.
- Geographical HR Leadership: Lead the end-to-end HR agenda across the designated area and business scope, ensuring consistent delivery across countries, operating companies, and HR teams.
- People Strategy Execution: Translate enterprise HR strategy into business-relevant people priorities and drive implementation in close collaboration with the CHRO, members of the HR Leadership Team, and Centers of Expertise.
- Talent, Succession & Organisation Effectiveness: Drive succession planning, leadership development, critical talent retention, organisational effectiveness, and strategic workforce planning to strengthen business performance and future readiness.
- Governance, Risk & Employee Relations: Ensure robust HR governance, compliance, labour model consistency, employee relations approaches, and effective people-related risk management across the designated geographical area.
- Transformation & Change Leadership: Lead the people and organisational dimensions of major change initiatives, including restructuring, operating model changes, M&A integration, and other transformation programs.
- Enterprise Integration: Represent business area perspectives and priorities into enterprise HR discussions and provide feedback to global Centres of Expertise to strengthen overall HR impact and relevance.
What You Bring
- Proven senior HR leadership experience in a large international and matrixed organisation.
- Strong strategic business partnering capability with the credibility and influence to work effectively at executive level.
- Experience leading multi-country or regional HR operations through direct and indirect teams.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to connect people strategy with commercial and operational priorities.Solid experience in organisation design,
- leadership development, talent management, succession planning, and transformation leadership.
- You potentially have a relevant academic degree. However, we value the depth and breadth of your experiences, learning agility and curiosity, your engaging leadership and the ability to influence across a culturally diverse global organization, higher than a specific academic background.
