Senior Content Lead, AI Enabled Market Impact
Velux Residential
Step into a senior, high‑impact role at the centre of Strategic Communications, where you will shape how AI is used to create, scale, and activate content across markets. This is an opportunity to build a new capability, influence how teams work globally, and drive real commercial impact through smarter, faster, and more effective content.
Meet your future team
You will join the Strategic Communications team – a small, ambitious group working at the intersection of healthy buildings, sustainability, innovation, and design. Together with architects, developers, researchers, and industry partners, the team helps shape the future of housing by advancing solutions that promote daylight, fresh air, indoor climate, affordability, and sustainable living.
Through initiatives such as Living Places and Re:Living, the team turns insights into action by developing design principles, digital tools, thought leadership, and demonstration projects that inspire better ways to design, build, and renovate homes.
Combining strategic thinking with hands on execution, the team creates partnerships, campaigns, platforms, and content that spark dialogue, influence the building industry, and strengthen the position of VELUX as a leader in healthy and sustainable building design.
What we offer
This role gives you the opportunity to lead the deployment of AI in content creation and turn it into a scalable, value‑creating capability for VELUX. You will influence how content is created, adapted, and optimised, while setting clear standards and ways of working across markets.
More specifically, your tasks will be to:
- Lead the deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement of AI in content creation within Strategic Communications
- Define principles, guardrails, workflows, and quality standards for AI‑enabled content
- Design scalable, insight‑driven content workflows that increase speed, flexibility, and commercial relevance
- Enable markets with modular, high‑impact content systems that reduce friction and time‑to‑market
- Provide senior editorial leadership across strategic agendas, ensuring coherence, relevance, and consistency
- Make clear prioritisation decisions on what scales, what adapts, and what does not
- Build content and AI capability through playbooks, guidance, and hands‑on coaching
- Act as a trusted sparring partner to agenda owners and senior stakeholders
What you will bring
You are a senior content or communications professional with strong editorial judgement and a clear commercial mindset. You are comfortable leading new ways of working where standards are still evolving and thrive in roles that require influence rather than formal people management.
Moreover, we expect that you:
- Have proven experience in strategic content, communications, or editorial leadership
- Have hands‑on experience using AI tools for content creation, adaptation, optimisation, and reuse
- Have worked closely with markets, regions, or commercially oriented teams
- Write and edit at a high level in English, with strong storytelling skills
- Are pragmatic, confident in prioritisation, and focused on outcomes and value creation
- Take strong ownership and accountability for results
