Job Description

Our technology platform serves as a foundation that ensure efficient and best in class equipment solution to fit LEGO strategic direction.

Ultimately support right technology solutions the organization should use, how they integrate and standardize, and how they evolve over time across many projects.

In this role, you will support our technology equipment platforms, bridging across functional teams and organization translate visions and strategies into tangible activities, projects and pipeline.

You support and define technology strategy and road map Define platform vision, standards, and multi‑year technology roadmaps aligned to business needs.

As a Platform Engineer, you'll



  • Develop technology direction in a strategic and vision level that supports future strategic goals and initiatives in the LEGO Group.
  • Develop multi year technology roadmaps based that will set strategic direction for the equipment incl. Technology and production environment maturity and risk assessment.
  • Implementation governance Set requirements, interfaces, and safety-by-design principles; guide projects tactically/strategically (without executing FAT/SAT yourself).
  • Operations and lifecycle Own standards, support requirements towards documentation, SLAs, and reliability/maintainability; plan upgrades, retrofits, and decommissioning.
  • As part of the technology platform, you support technology management and support cross functional collaboration to deliver recommendations.



Supplier and Stakeholder Engagement



  • Engage in pipeline and project portfolio control and sourcing strategy for the equipment platform
  • Engage in supplier relationship management for alignment and quality delivery.
  • Follow up on supplier performance and requirement/specification governance
  • Facilitate communication between operations and engineering functions like IT, OT, Machine Safety but also finance functions, legal, or other relevant stakeholders.
  • Keep stakeholder map and analysis to support 360-degree perspectives to support best fit technology solutions.



Leadership Perspective



  • Maintain a broad understanding of operations and engineering disciplines with a technical management mindset.
  • Act as a curious generalist to understand and integrate diverse stakeholder perspectives that drives best overall equipment solutions and bridge into tangible activities and direction.
  • Support specialists and project managers with your broad understanding to ensure excellent technology equipment deliveries
  • Together with colleagues and key stakeholder ensure high quality validation process and handover procedures.
  • Be curios about market trends, technology development and general innovations that could benefit LEGO.

Do you have what it takes?



  • Experience within intra logistic, production related logistic, automation solutions as a broad field.
  • Technical background and broad technical acumen and understanding
  • Technical management experience, asset management or similar
  • Experience or good understanding of project management is a plus
  • A broad founded knowledge around technology leadership is a plus, which could include but not limited to, finance and business case, legal and contracting, operation and maintenance, quality engineering.
  • Ability to travel approximately 40 days per year.
