Nordic Payroll Specialist (m/f/x)

As our new Payroll Specialist, you’ll collaborate with three experienced HR colleagues across the region to ensure payroll processes run smoothly and accurately. In this role, you will be the primary specialist responsible for payroll management, supported by experienced HR colleagues.
As a key member of our Nordic HR team, you will:
Handle employee payroll queries with precision and efficiency
Collect, import, and upload essential data to our payroll provider, ensuring accuracy in areas such as time and attendance, new hires, leavers, long-term absence, and non-fixed payroll elements
Maintain payroll master data with a high level of accuracy and compliance
Prepare and manage all aspects of the payroll process to ensure timely execution
Generate bonus letters, salary reviews, and other key documents
Provide absence and salary reports to colleagues across the Nordics and at HQ
Facilitate manual salary payments through our Helpdesk system
Update and maintain payroll data in Workday, our integrated HR management system
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has
A relevant educational background, e.g. as a payroll accountant or similar
Proven experience in managing outsourced payroll administration across multiple countries
Strong knowledge of collective agreements and wage legislation in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland
Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with relevant HR and payroll systems (experience with Workday and Microsoft Office is a plus)
Swedish or Danish as mother tongue and is fluent in English
