You will be part of a global IT organization within Enterprise Business Solutions, working alongside colleagues across Denmark, Germany, Brazil, and India. Together, we support a diverse portfolio of enterprise applications critical to business operations, including HR systems, ERP platforms, and specialized solutions. In this role, you will contribute directly to ensuring stable, scalable, and forward-looking Workday integrations that support our global workforce.
The Role & Your Impact
As a Senior Application Specialist, you will act as a technical expert within Workday, primarily focusing on integrations and system setup from an IT perspective. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role with global impact, supporting essential HR processes and cross-system integrations.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the technical specialist for Workday, with a strong focus on integrations
- Designing, building, maintaining, and troubleshooting Workday integrations, with Workday Studio as a key tool
- Supporting integration work between Workday and enterprise applications such as Workforce Software and KMD Payroll Cloud
- Collaborating closely with HR (P&O), IT teams, integration specialists, and external vendors to ensure stable solutions and clear ownership
- Building knowledge of Workforce Software and related applications as responsibilities evolve
- Contributing to documentation, technical standards, and continuous improvement of Workday-related services
To succeed in this role, you bring strong technical expertise combined with a collaborative mindset:
- 5+ years of experience working with Workday integrations
- Proven hands-on experience with Workday Studio
- Solid understanding of Workday integration capabilities (e.g., APIs, RaaS reports, connectors)
- Experience with technical configuration and support of Workday from an IT perspective
- Experience working in global enterprise environments
- Fluency in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across IT and business stakeholders
- Hands-on, detail-oriented approach
- Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset
Experience or interest in Workforce Software or similar workforce management systems is an advantage, as is familiarity with payroll integrations or platforms such as KMD Payroll Cloud. We also value a curious mindset and a willingness to learn new enterprise applications within a broader IT landscape. Experience working with global teams and in cross-functional environments would further support success in this role.

Ways of Working / Working Conditions
