Internal Requirements
1. Job Function
As a technician, you are part of the Manufacturing Engineering -Technical Support department, which is responsible for:
Maintaining equipment and installations under the Agilent quality system (QMS) Implementing new equipment Maintaining the equipment database Monitoring and trending equipment performance Ensuring updated and correct drawing material Ensuring updated procedures for the area Validating (cleaning, equipment, and installations) Ensuring supply of clean water, gases, and compressed air
Each employee handles assigned tasks and is trained accordingly. Training documentation is listed inTX01317 Training file Index. Prioritization and planning of individual training are prepared in collaboration with OFS.
a) Organizational
Reports to Manager Technical Support
b) Span of Control and Authority
Approve service reports, calibrations, and control documents
Introduce production stop if a machine does not deliver as needed
Access to all rooms at the location due to participation in engineering watch arrangement
c) Communication/Contacts
Internal: Contact with production (ME's primary internal customer), and other departments such as Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), Planning, Purchasing, and Workplace Service (WPS/CBRE)
External:
Preferred suppliers with service agreements for equipment maintenance or suppliers with special competencies within a subject/equipment area
Qualifications
Job responsibility:
The job responsibilities for the Manufacturing Technician in the Technical Support department at Agilent Dako include:
Maintain equipment and installations under the Agilent quality system (QMS). Implement new equipment as required by the department. Maintain the equipment database to ensure accurate records. Monitor and trend equipment performance to identify issues and optimize operations. Ensure updated and correct drawing material is available for reference and compliance. Ensure updated procedures for the area are in place and followed. Validate cleaning, equipment, and installations to meet quality and regulatory standards. Ensure supply of clean water, gases, and compressed air for manufacturing needs.
Additionally, the technician is responsible for:
Approving service reports, calibrations, and control documents.
Introducing a production stop if a machine does not deliver as needed.
Accessing all rooms at the location due to participation in the engineering watch arrangement.
These responsibilities ensure the smooth operation and compliance of manufacturing processes within the department.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
