Your mission
As our new Junior Legal Counsel, your mission is to provide practical, commercially focused legal support that enables the business to operate confidently across multiple markets. You'll work alongside experienced legal professionals, partnering with stakeholders across the Awaze Group to advise on a broad range of legal matters, manage risk, and help ensure compliance. From day one, you'll take on meaningful responsibility, build strong business relationships, and develop your expertise in an international, collaborative environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the management and resolution of guest and homeowner claims across the Group's holiday rental brands
- Assist with litigation and alternative dispute resolution processes, working with external legal advisers where required
- Act as a first point of contact for legal queries from colleagues across the business
- Provide practical legal advice on commercial contracts, consumer law, data privacy, regulatory matters and general business issues, with support from senior legal team members where appropriate
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements relating to the procurement of goods and services
- Review, maintain and update customer and supplier terms and conditions while supporting the business in applying contractual and consumer law requirements
- Assist with corporate governance and company secretarial activities, including maintaining corporate records and statutory filings
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across different functions and jurisdictions

We're Looking For Someone Who Brings
- A recently completed legal qualification, or qualification expected shortly, such as cand.jur., cand.merc.jur. or an equivalent legal degree
- Strong legal research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Danish and English (German is a plus)
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality work to deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to build relationships across all levels of the organisation
- A commercial mindset with an interest in understanding how legal advice supports business objectives
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Experience with legal technology tools is an advantage but not essential
- Willingness to travel occasionally between our offices in Aarhus and Copenhagen
- Deliver practical legal advice that enables confident business decision-making.
- Help protect the business by effectively managing legal risk and resolving disputes.
- Build trusted relationships with colleagues across multiple business functions and countries.
- Strengthen commercial agreements and legal documentation to support business growth.
- Contribute to strong corporate governance and compliance across the Awaze Group.
- Develop your expertise across a wide range of legal disciplines in a dynamic international business.
