What to Expect Our Tesla facilities are on the front lines of our mission. The Regional Facilities Manager North will provide operational support to enable our locations to run as efficiently and effectively as possible and offer an exceptional experience for our employees and customers.

Facilities Managers work closely with internal customers, stakeholders, and partners from Operations, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, HR, Sales, and Service to ensure seamless operation and maintenance of our buildings and facilities across EMEA. Facilities Managers are the key liaison for external vendors and service providers. In addition, in this position, you will have the opportunity to lead a team, and together you will be managing expansion projects.

This position can be based in Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, or Stockholm.


What You'll Do
  • Manage the full scope and lifecycle of hard- and soft services required for ongoing management and maintenance of all facilities within the region of responsibility
  • Manage communication between facilities operations and local leadership on critical facility initiatives and projects.
  • Work cross-functionally to build a structured and scalable operations program to ensure consistent brand standards and customer experience for all our facilities including sales, service, delivery, manufacturing, warehousing, office, and other locations.
  • Oversee facilities operations which can include amongst others: events, food service, janitorial, mail, storage, parking, transportation, etc.
  • Oversee the facility technician team (outsourced providers) & ensure smooth and continuous operation of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and all systems. Provide preventative maintenance and solve maintenance-related problems.
  • Create preventative maintenance, inspection, and service schedules for all systems and equipment.
  • Act as an advocate by communicating the need of work environment improvements for all locations within the assigned region
  • In close collaboration with the Facilities Operations Shared Services team manage and own prompt resolution of escalations related to emergency repair/maintenance requests and recurring services (i.e. paint, landscaping, snow removal, etc.).
  • Forecast 2-year facility and equipment budget forecast
  • In close alignment with Real Estate Managers ensure adequate strategic space planning—Establish workplace/workshop/ office space metrics based on current and project headcount plans. Create space plans that satisfy internal and external department adjacency.
  • Move Management—Oversee process and develop a 2-year plan based on headcount management.
