The Role
As Manager, Soft Services, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality workplace and facilities services across Genmab's headquarters and QC laboratory in Ballerup, with the potential to support additional European sites as the organisation continues to evolve. You will lead a range of services including cleaning, catering, security, reception, workplace support, and other facilities-related services as required, ensuring a safe, compliant, and positive workplace experience for employees and visitors.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong stakeholder management skills, sound operational judgement, and the ability to work independently. You will have the freedom to make decisions, drive improvements, and build strong partnerships with both internal stakeholders and external service providers. Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day delivery of soft facilities services, including cleaning, catering, security, reception, workplace support, and other facilities-related services as required.

Lead and develop facilities personnel and service delivery teams, including direct reports and outsourced service providers, fostering a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Act as the primary point of contact for external service providers, overseeing contract performance, service quality, and vendor relationships.

Ensure services are delivered in line with business needs, stakeholder expectations, and agreed service levels.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, translating operational requirements into effective workplace solutions.

Coordinate workplace planning activities, including seating plans, office moves, workspace reconfigurations, and furniture management.

Support facility operations through routine inspections and close collaboration with Hard FM colleagues to address maintenance and workplace issues.

Manage soft services budgets, including forecasting, expenditure tracking, cost control, and identification of efficiency opportunities.

Support procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoice review, contract renewals, and vendor evaluations.

Lead workplace-related projects such as service transitions, office improvements, vendor change initiatives, and cross-functional or global facilities projects.

Maintain accurate documentation, service records, and compliance-related information.

Support compliance requirements and contribute to inspection readiness across the facilities environment.

Support facilities operations across additional locations and assume broader facilities management responsibilities as organisational needs evolve.
Requirements

Proven experience managing soft facilities services, ideally within a corporate, life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, or similarly regulated environment.

Strong background in vendor and contract management, including developing service level agreements and holding service providers accountable for performance and quality.

Experience leading facilities teams, outsourced service providers, and multiple service streams simultaneously.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation.

Highly self-motivated and comfortable working independently within a framework of ownership and accountability.

Experience managing budgets, forecasting costs, and identifying opportunities for operational improvements.

Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment.

Experience working with procurement and ERP systems such as SAP is advantageous.

GMP and/or GxP experience is considered a strong advantage, particularly given the increasing manufacturing activities at the Ballerup site.

This is a predominantly onsite role requiring regular physical presence to support operational activities, stakeholders, and service providers.

Willingness and ability to travel occasionally within Europe as required (up to approximately 10%).

Fluent English is required. Danish language skills are strongly preferred due to regular interaction with local service providers.

Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
The proposed gross annual/hourly base salary range for this position, in the primary location, based on a full time schedule is:
DKK571.200,00-856.800,00The final salary offer will depend on several factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
