At Mind Energy, intraday trading is driven by data, systematic strategies and continuous optimisation. As an Intraday Power Trader, you trade across European power markets while helping develop the models, signals and decision frameworks that drive performance.

You combine market understanding with analytical thinking, using data to identify opportunities, challenge assumptions and improve how we trade. Alongside trading shifts, you spend time developing strategies, analysing market behaviour and finding new ways to create an edge in increasingly competitive markets.

You operate at the intersection of trading, data and market dynamics, where strong analysis and disciplined execution create the foundation for performance.

Alongside your trading shifts, you spend time developing strategies, exploring new market opportunities and refining the models and signals that support our trading decisions.

Your mission is to:

• Trade and optimise our intraday power portfolio across European markets
• Develop, test and refine systematic trading strategies based on data and market insights
• Analyse market behaviour, trading performance and new opportunities to strengthen our setup
• Apply quantitative methods, data modelling and automation to improve trading decisions
• Contribute to strategic projects and the continued development of our trading activities
• Participate in a 24/7 shift rotation, including day, evening and weekend shifts

You’ll join our Intraday Power team in Aarhus, where traders, analysts and specialists work together to understand markets, challenge assumptions and continuously improve how we trade.

The team combines deep market knowledge with a strong quantitative mindset. We believe the best trading decisions are built on data, robust analysis and a willingness to test, learn and refine. That applies both to the strategies we develop and the way we work together.

You’ll work closely with experienced colleagues across trading and quantitative disciplines, gaining exposure to a wide range of European power markets and market conditions. Alongside the daily trading activities, there is room to explore new ideas, develop signals and contribute to the strategies that strengthen our trading setup.

LET’S SWITCH THE FOCUS TO YOU

You are an experienced intraday power trader with a systematic mindset and a clear interest in using data and technology to improve trading performance. You understand how fast markets behave, and you know that strong strategies are built through analysis, testing and disciplined execution.

We imagine that you bring:

• 3+ years of experience in intraday power trading, preferably across multiple European markets
• Experience working with systematic or data-driven trading strategies, where signals, backtesting and algorithms support decision-making
• Proficiency in Python, R or a similar programming language
• The flexibility to work in a 24/7 shift setup, including day, evening and weekend shifts

You collaborate well with others, share market insight openly and are motivated by improving trading performance through data, technology and continuous learning.
