This is the role
You will join ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation (RTI), a global subsidiary of the ROCKWOOL Group. We are offering advanced technical insulation solutions for the process industry as well as marine and offshore.
You will become part of our Global Marketing team and report to the Marketing Director. We are an international team responsible for business development, regulatory and norms and standards, product management, marketing and communication.

Working closely with Sales, Product Management and R&D and collaborating with key stakeholders in headquarter functions and regional subsidiaries, you will gain a broad, global role where you will be in charge of setting and executing our Norms & Standards and Regulatory strategy to support our sales efforts and long-term innovation. This also entails providing strategic guidance to our representatives in various regulatory and standardisation bodies like EN / ISO, VDI, ASTM, API, CINI etc. and work closely with the ROCKWOOL Group’s EU regulatory function.
You will :
- Seek to impact the relevant regulatory landscape and standards in Europe and North America to support our position and growth
- Work closely with our specification sales team to support their work with global key accounts
- Drive actions in connection with EU Energy Efficiency and Clean Industrial Deal regulations to create new business opportunities for RTI
- Build strong relationships with industry associations and influence initiatives that support our current and future business.
- Identify emerging regulatory developments and translate them into commercial opportunities.
- Monitor regulations on the Health and Safety area
- Support our sales teams on answering customer inquiries within your area of responsibility
We are looking for a colleague with an engineering background, who also has a strong business acumen and strategic mind. We imagine that you are already working in a commercial role or would like to pursue that direction. Since you will be working with many people, your stakeholder management skills are important. You are able to translate market developments (in this case of regulations and norms and standards) into commercial opportunities globally and locally. You like to dive into the details (of a standard) and are able to convert highly technical material into clear communication, providing clear and easy-to-understand situation descriptions and recommendations. You are ambitious and work with a high drive. Moreover, you :
- Hold a master’s degree in engineering or similar technical field
- Have 7+ years of experience from an international company within process or manufacturing industries. Experience working with technical standards and EU regulatory is an advantage.
- Work structured and with an eye for detail
- Are fluent in English – Danish or German is an advantage but not a prerequisite
- Available to travel up to 25 days a year.
