Technical Test Consultant (SQL & Data)

On behalf of a large international company, we are looking for a Technical Test Consultant (SQL & Data) to support a business-critical sustainability programme. The consultant will join a team responsible for validating complex data flows that underpin CO₂ calculations and sustainability reporting.

This is a hands-on, data-focused testing role requiring a structured and proactive consultant who can work independently and take ownership of testing activities.

Main Responsibilities:

Perform technical testing of complex, data-driven solutions supporting sustainability initiatives
Validate large datasets and ensure data integrity across multiple systems and processes
Execute SQL-based testing and analyse databases and data structures
Verify data transformations and data flows throughout the solution landscape
Plan, prioritise and execute testing activities independently
Identify, investigate and communicate defects and data quality issues
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliveries

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Technical Tester, Data Tester or similar role
Strong hands-on experience with SQL, databases and data structures
Experience testing complex data flows and validating large datasets
Ability to work independently and take ownership of testing activities
Experience with sustainability, ESG or Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) solutions is beneficial

Location: Aarhus, Denmark (hybrid)
Allocation: Full-time
Preferred Start Date: 01/09/2026
Start Date: Preferably around September 1st, with October 1st as the latest acceptable date.
Initial contract until 31/12/2026 with a strong likelihood of extension into 2027
