Support for our operations support team

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies

We are looking for a structured Manufacturing Expert to join our Operations Support team for DSM2 in Hillerød. Our site is organized into three value streams/production lines, each with a dedicated Operations Support team.

This role is central to ensuring smooth day-to-day production in a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing environment. You will in the role provide timely support, deep-dive into root causes, and drive cross-functional coordination to keep operations stable and aligned with department goals. Working closely with the manufacturing shop floor and stakeholders across the site, you will contribute directly to production robustness by supporting issue resolution, driving adherence to plans, and ensuring quality and compliance through effective data handling.

This position is a great fit if you thrive on solving the most urgent issues first, can adapt to shifting priorities with ease, and see changes as opportunities rather than challenges. Tasks may shift with production demands to ensure we address the most critical needs promptly.

In this role, you will (including but not limited to):

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, support root-cause analyses and drive corrective and preventive actions
  • Act as first-line support for daily production challenges and escalate complex issues to the Operations Support Lead and relevant stakeholders when needed
  • Support deviation handling within the value stream to ensure timely closure and effective countermeasures
  • Monitor adherence to production plans; analyze delays and propose improvements to increase robustness and throughput
  • Drive PR follow-up and provide overviews to improve visibility of ongoing issues
  • Maintain and update data for daily/weekly/quarterly use; analyze trends and deviations in operations and share insights to strengthen quality, robustness, and efficiency
  • Contribute to cross-functional coordination to maintain operational continuity in a 24/7 manufacturing setup

To be successful, you will have:

  • Experience in downstream manufacturing processes, familiarity with upstream is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a structured, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset
  • Comfortable working with data to inform decisions; “data-savvy” mindset
  • Clear, concise communication and strong collaboration skills across shifts and functions
  • Ability to act quickly under pressure and manage changing priorities
  • Knowledge of GMP and regulatory expectations
  • High proficiency in English, both written and spoken

The team
Our Operations Support team is the backbone of Drug Substance Manufacturing, keeping a 24/7, large-scale operation robust, compliant, and on track. You will report to the Operations Support Leader and partner closely with shift-based Production Leaders and teams across DSM 2.

Join us if you’re driven by purpose and enjoy solving complex challenges, come help us enhance manufacturing excellence and ensure a reliable supply of life-changing medicines to patients globally.
