At BORG Automotive, we are looking for a BI Consultant to join our Group BI & Analytics team. Whether you are early in your career or already have some experience within BI, analytics, or reporting, this role offers the opportunity to building broad expertise within BI & Analytics and developing deeper technical and non-technical competencies.

The Role

As a BI Consultant, you will work with BI and analytics solutions, from understanding business needs and gathering requirements to supporting development, testing, and implementation. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the BI & Analytics team, helping translate opportunities into scalable solutions that support better decision-making across BORG Automotive.

This combination of requirement gathering, solution development, analytics, and domain specialization gives you the opportunity to specialize within specific domains such as supply chain, production, commercial, or finance, while deepening both your technical and non-technical competencies within BI & Analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Clarify business requirements and translate them into valuable BI and analytics solution designs in collaboration with technical specialists.
• Support development, testing, and rollout of dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.
• Train and support key users, ensuring relevant knowledge, guidance, and documentation are available to end users.
• Take part in the team’s support responsibility through weekly rotating shifts, helping ensure stable and reliable BI services.
• Promote data-driven decision-making by identifying opportunities where BI and analytics can improve processes, transparency, and business performance.
• Contribute to governance, standardization, and continuous improvement of BI solutions.

Who You Are

You are naturally curious and enjoy understanding how businesses operate. You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders and asking the right questions before jumping to solutions.

You bring the following qualifications and strengths:

• Have a relevant degree within Business, Economics, Engineering, IT, Data Analytics, or similar.
• Enjoy combining business understanding with analytical thinking
• Have strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Are structured and proactive in your approach.
• Are motivated by learning and continuous development.
• A problem solver who is persistent in turning needs into practical solutions
• Help simplify data structures and processes through curiosity and active engagement with business stakeholders.

Experience with SQL, BI tools, reporting, analytics, or data modelling is an advantage, but the most important factor is a genuine interest in helping the business create value through data.

About Group BI & Analytics

Group BI & Analytics is a team of 8 employees responsible for enabling data-driven decision-making across BORG Automotive. We work closely with the business to transform data into trusted insights, scalable data products, and improved decision-making capabilities. Our mission is to help the organization turn data into business value through strong collaboration, governance, and analytics expertise.
